Here we go, here we go, here we go...

Stephen's new album "Firecracker" is due to begin appearing in shops from February 3. Fans who choose to pre-order the album directly from Stephen's record label WMinc Productions (www.wminc.com.au) will also receive a separate disc of live recordings. This email contains all of the information you need to know about who to contact, how you pay, what you will receive and when you will receive it so please, please, please, make sure you read everything below.

Firecracker

• "Firecracker" features 14 brand new rockabilly-influenced tracks, all written by Stephen (except one co-written with Bill McDonald).

• "Firecracker" has a bright and shiny booklet which includes full lyrics. The undisputed highlight of the booklet are two photographs demonstrating my scintillating photographic abilities. Or something like that. :-)

• I will post full lyrics and perhaps one or two mp3 files of "Firecracker" songs on www.lovetown.net some time before Feb 3.

Bonus disc

• The bonus disc will be a completely separate disc from Firecracker, with separate artwork in a separate case.

• The bonus disc will be a compilation of live recordings, featuring both live band and acoustic arrangements.

• The bonus disc will be a properly pressed disc (not a CDR!) and will feature basic 4-panel artwork on the front cover and the track listing on the back cover.

• The bonus disc will *not* be shipped at the same time as "Firecracker". In truth the disc is still being compiled. The original intention was to ship it with "Firecracker" but the Xmas break has played havoc with the work required to get clearances for the recordings featured on it. At one stage it was decided to do a quick'n'dirty disc to ship it on time but on further consideration, the decision has been made to do it properly which is going to take a little bit longer.

• The live disc *will* be available for purchase separately, but not until much later this year. It will only be available for purchase at gigs and through WMinc/www.lovetown.net. This will not be a full commercial release so you will *not* be able to purchase it from your favourite record store at any time.

• The quickest, easiest and cheapest way to get the live disc is to pre-order "Firecracker" now.

Price

• For orders shipped within Australia, "Firecracker" is priced at $30 which will include both the postage costs of the album and the subsequent postage of the bonus live disc.

• For orders shipped outside Australia, "Firecracker" is priced at $35. Again this will include postage costs for both discs.

• Payment can be made via credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Bankcard), cheque or money order.

• Credit card payments can be made by faxing, phoning or emailing your details to Graham Lee @ WMinc Productions. You will need to disclose your credit card number, the expiry date on the card and the name on the card. To phone your details through to Graham, call (03) 9419 0608 during Melb business hours. To fax your details, dial (03) 9419 7243. To email your details, send them to "glee@wminc.com.au".

• If you are wary of sending your card details via email, you may like to send half of the card number in one email and the other half in another email (it might be a good idea to idea to indicate which is which).

• All email correspondence should be sent to "glee@wminc.com.au" with the subject line "Firecracker bonus".

• Cheques and money orders should be in Australian dollars (ie. Australian cheques only!) and made payable to "WMinc Productions".

• Cheques and money orders should be posted to:

• Please remember to include your name, postal address and any other relevant contact details (eg. email address) when placing your order. We can't ship discs to you if we don't know who you are.

• If you have any questions about anything to do with payment, call Graham (03-9419-0608) or email him (glee@wminc.com.au).

• The aim will be to ship "Firecracker" so that you receive it in the post on the day of release (February 3). If you are ordering from overseas, you will receive your CD as soon as possible after this date - it will depend on the speed of the various postal services between here and your part of the world.

• The bonus disc will be shipped as soon as possible after it's finished. Unless the sky falls in, this will be no later than May 1. I will send an email to this list when those discs begin shipping. I'll keep you posted as it is all finalised.

Closing date for orders

• MGM Distribution will be placing "Firecrackers" in stores from February 3 so pre-orders will close at the end of the previous week (January 31). Orders placed after this time will miss out on the bonus live disc and will have to wait until later in the year for the opportunity to purchase it separately.
